Terms of Service for Brickosquare

Welcome to Brickosquare! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the
Brickosquare mobile game ("the Game"), developed and operated by Brickosquare Games ("we," "us," or
"our"), available on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store. By downloading, installing, or playing
the Game, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Game.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Game, you confirm that you:
- Are at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction)
- Have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms
- Agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations
2. License to Use
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the Game
for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not:
- Modify, reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Game
- Copy, distribute, or create derivative works from the Game
- Use the Game for any commercial purpose without our written permission
- Remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices
- Use bots, cheats, hacks, or any automated means to play the Game
3. User Accounts
a. Account Creation
You may play as a guest or sign in with your Google account or Apple ID (Sign in with Apple). If you
sign in:
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
- You must provide accurate information
- You agree not to share your account credentials
- You are responsible for all activities under your account
b. Account Suspension and Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if:
- You violate these Terms
- You engage in fraudulent activity or payment disputes
- You use cheats, hacks, or exploit bugs
- You harass other users or engage in inappropriate conduct
4. In-App Purchases
a. Purchases
The Game offers in-app purchases including:
- Individual cosmetic styles (blocks, grids, backgrounds) on Android
- Token packs (consumable purchases) on iOS, used to unlock premium styles
- Ad removal
- Subscriptions (weekly, monthly, yearly, lifetime)
On iOS, premium cosmetic styles are unlocked using token packs (consumable in-app purchases) rather than
direct per-style purchases. Tokens are spent in-game to unlock styles; unused tokens remain in your
account until used.
All purchases are processed through the billing system of the platform where you downloaded the Game:
We also use RevenueCat to help manage purchases and subscriptions across platforms.
b. Pricing and Payment
- Prices are displayed in your local currency and may vary by region and platform
- Android: Payment is charged to your Google Play account. Subscriptions automatically
renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. You can manage and cancel
subscriptions in your Google Play account settings.
- iOS: Payment is charged to your Apple ID account. Subscriptions automatically
renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. You can manage and cancel
subscriptions in the App Store app under Account → Subscriptions, or via the in-app subscription
management link where available.
c. Refunds
Refunds are handled by the platform where you made the purchase:
- Google Play: Refunds are handled according to Google Play's refund policy. You may
request a refund within 48 hours of purchase through Google Play in many cases.
- Apple App Store: Refunds are handled by Apple according to Apple's refund policy.

or contact Apple Support. We cannot process App Store refunds directly.
- We do not offer refunds for consumed virtual items (including spent token packs) or subscriptions
that have been used
- Refunds for technical issues will be considered on a case-by-case basis where permitted by the
applicable platform
d. Virtual Items
- Purchased items (styles, tokens, ad removal) have no real-world value
- Virtual items cannot be transferred, traded, or sold
- On iOS, token packs are consumable purchases; once tokens are spent, they cannot be restored except
as required by applicable law or platform policy
- We reserve the right to modify or discontinue items with reasonable notice
5. Subscriptions
- Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal
date (at least 24 hours in advance on both platforms)
- Cancellation (Android): Cancel anytime through Google Play; access continues until
the current billing period ends
- Cancellation (iOS): Cancel anytime through the App Store (Settings → Apple ID →
Subscriptions, or the in-app subscription management link); access continues until the current
billing period ends
- Price Changes: We may change subscription prices with 30 days notice where required
by the applicable platform
- Benefits: Subscription benefits (unlocked styles, ad-free experience) are only
active while the subscription is valid
6. Leaderboards and User Content
The Game includes leaderboards displaying high scores and usernames. By participating:
- You grant us permission to display your username and scores publicly
- You agree not to use offensive or inappropriate usernames
- We reserve the right to remove inappropriate content or usernames
- You understand that leaderboard data may be reset periodically
7. Advertisements
Unless you purchase ad removal:
- The Game displays banner and rewarded video ads via Google AdMob
- Ads may be personalized based on your interests or device advertising identifier
- Android: You can opt out of personalized ads in device settings (e.g., "Opt out of
Ads Personalization")
- iOS: You can limit ad tracking in Settings → Privacy & Security → Apple
Advertising
- We are not responsible for the content of third-party advertisements
8. Intellectual Property
All content in the Game, including but not limited to:
- Graphics, designs, animations, sounds, and music
- Code, software, and game mechanics
- Trademarks, logos, and branding
are owned by Brickosquare Games or our licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other
intellectual property laws.
9. Privacy
Your use of the Game is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we
collect, use, and protect your data. By using the Game, you consent to our data practices as described
in the Privacy Policy.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE GAME IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT:
- The Game will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
- Defects will be corrected
- The Game is free of viruses or harmful components
11. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
- Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months before the claim
- Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations, so they may not apply to you
12. Changes to the Game
We reserve the right to:
- Modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature of the Game
- Update the Game with new content, features, or bug fixes
- Change game balance, mechanics, or pricing
We will provide reasonable notice for significant changes that affect paid features.
13. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by:
- Updating the "Last Updated" date
- Displaying an in-game notification
- Requiring acceptance of new Terms
Continued use of the Game after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
14. Termination
You may stop using the Game at any time. We may terminate or suspend your access if:
- You breach these Terms
- We discontinue the Game
- Required by law
Upon termination, your license to use the Game ends immediately.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Latvia. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Latvia.
However, users in other jurisdictions may have additional consumer protection rights.

This Privacy Policy explains how Brickosquare Games ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, and
protects information when you use our mobile game, Brickosquare ("the Game"), available on the Google
Play Store and Apple App Store. By playing the Game, you agree to the practices described in this
policy.
1. Information We Collect
We may collect the following types of information when you use the Game. These categories align with our
App Store Privacy Nutrition Labels and Google Play Data Safety disclosures:
a. Personal Information
- User Account Information: If you sign in with Google or Sign in with Apple, we
collect your user ID, display name (username), and profile picture URL provided by the sign-in
service to enable features like leaderboards and personalized settings.
- Profile Photos: If you upload a custom avatar, the image is stored in Firebase
Storage and linked to your account profile.
- In-App Purchases: When you make purchases (e.g., cosmetic styles, token packs, ad
removal, or subscriptions), we collect transaction data through Google Play billing, Apple In-App
Purchase / App Store billing, and third-party services like RevenueCat. On Android, individual
styles may be purchased directly; on iOS, premium styles are unlocked using token packs
(consumable purchases). This includes purchase history, subscription status, receipts, and related
tokens.
- Device Identifiers: We collect device identifiers (e.g., Advertising ID on Android,
Identifier for Advertisers on iOS) for analytics, advertising, and game functionality.
b. Non-Personal Information
- Gameplay Data: We collect data about your game progress, such as scores, high
scores, game grid state, selected block styles, grid styles, background styles, color preferences,
and token balance (on iOS).
- Analytics Data: We use Firebase Analytics to collect data about game usage, such as
session duration, interactions, and feature usage.
- Crash Data: We use Firebase Crashlytics to collect crash reports and diagnostic
data to help us fix bugs and improve stability.
- Performance Data: We use Firebase Performance Monitoring to collect data about app
performance, including network request times, app startup time, and screen rendering performance.
This helps us optimize the Game and troubleshoot issues.
- Device Information: Our third-party services (e.g., Google AdMob, Firebase, Apple)
may collect technical data like device type, operating system version, and IP address to optimize ad
delivery, ensure compatibility, and troubleshoot issues.
- Notifications: If you enable notifications, we schedule local notifications on
your device for daily rewards and play reminders. Notification preferences are stored locally; we do
not send push notifications from our servers for these reminders.
c. Data Summary (App Store Privacy Labels)
For transparency, the following data types may be collected and are reflected in our App Store Privacy
Nutrition Labels:
- User ID
- Username / display name
- Photos (profile avatar, if uploaded)
- Gameplay data (scores, progress, preferences)
- Purchase history

d. No Collection from Children
The Game is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from
children under 13. If we learn that we have collected such information, we will delete it promptly.
2. How We Collect Information
- Directly Provided: You provide personal information when signing in with Google or
Apple, uploading a profile photo, or making in-app purchases.
- Automatically Collected: We collect gameplay data, analytics, crash reports,
performance metrics, and device information automatically as you play the Game or interact with
ads.
- Device Permissions: If you grant notification permission, we schedule local
notifications on your device for daily rewards and play reminders.
- Third-Party Services: We use third-party services (listed below) that may collect
data on our behalf to provide features like authentication, analytics, performance monitoring,
storage, and advertising.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information to:
- Provide and personalize the Game experience (e.g., saving game progress, displaying leaderboards,
applying selected styles, storing uploaded avatars).
- Process in-app purchases and manage subscriptions through Google Play, the App Store, and
RevenueCat.
- Display personalized advertisements (if you have not purchased the ad-free version).
- Send local notifications for daily rewards and play reminders (if you have enabled
notifications).
- Analyze game performance and user behavior to improve the Game (via Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics,
and Performance Monitoring).
- Monitor and optimize app performance, including startup times and network requests.
- Ensure the security and functionality of the Game.
- Comply with legal obligations.
4. How We Share Your Information
a. Third-Party Service Providers
We use the following services, which may process data on our behalf:
- Google Play Services: For in-app purchases, authentication, and Google Sign-In on

- Apple: For Sign in with Apple and In-App Purchase / App Store billing on iOS. See

- Firebase (Google): For analytics, crash reporting (Firebase Crashlytics), and

- Firebase Storage (Google): For storing uploaded profile photos (avatars).
- Google Mobile Ads (AdMob): For serving banner and rewarded ads in the Game (unless
you have purchased the ad-free version). AdMob may collect advertising identifiers and other data for

- Firestore (Google): For storing user profiles, including game progress, high
scores, and purchased/unlocked styles.
- RevenueCat: For managing in-app purchases and subscriptions alongside Google Play
and App Store billing. RevenueCat processes transaction data (e.g., receipts, tokens) and may collect
device information (e.g., device type, OS version). This data is handled anonymously where possible

b. Legal Requirements
We may disclose your information if required by law, such as to comply with a court order or protect our
rights.
c. Aggregated Data
We may share anonymized, aggregated data (e.g., analytics) with partners for research or business
purposes. This data cannot identify you.
5. Advertising and Opt-Out Options
If you have not purchased the ad-free version, the Game uses Google AdMob to display banner and rewarded
ads. These ads may be personalized based on your device advertising identifier. You can:
- Android: Opt out of personalized ads via device settings (e.g., "Opt out of Ads
Personalization")
- iOS: Limit ad tracking via Settings → Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising
- Purchase the ad-free version through the in-app shop to remove ads entirely
6. Data Security
We use industry-standard measures, such as encryption and secure servers, to protect your data. However,
no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your Data Rights
Depending on your location (e.g., under GDPR or CCPA), you may have the following rights:
- Access: Request a copy of your personal data.
- Correction: Request correction of inaccurate data.
- Deletion: Request deletion of your data via our automated account deletion
form or by contacting us. This will delete your Firebase account and associated data (e.g.,
profile, uploaded avatar, high scores, purchase records stored by us) automatically, but your
Google or Apple account will remain unaffected. If you have an active subscription, you must cancel
it separately through Google Play or the App Store (Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions); deleting
your in-game account does not cancel billing. We process requests within 30 days and confirm via
email.
- Opt-Out: Opt out of personalized ads or data sharing (via device settings or in-app
purchases).

stored data (e.g., game progress) may be reset, but data stored in Firestore can be accessed again by
signing in with the same Google or Apple account.
8. Children's Privacy
The Game is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from
children under 13. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us at
brickosquare@gmail.com, and we will take steps to delete it.
9. International Data Transfers
Your data may be transferred to and processed in countries outside your region (e.g., the United States)
where our third-party providers (e.g., Google, Apple, Firebase, RevenueCat) operate. We ensure
appropriate safeguards are in place as required by applicable laws (e.g., GDPR).
10. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. We will
notify you of significant changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy or
